Atlanta Falcons - Who Are They ?

This is the part of 32 posts where I'm going to talk about all the NFL teams and give a summarised insight into the teams. This may help some fans decide what team is for them.

Where are they from?
Atlanta is one of the most growing cities in America. Atlanta is home to the headquarters of Delta Airlines and it's airport is officially the busiest in the world.

What do they look like?

This will give you a good idea of the look of the Arizona Cardinals. You see the kit and the logo.

Who are there rivals?
They have a few different rivals, like most teams in the NFL. But one of the biggest rivals for the Falcons is the Carolina Panthers. The Falcons and the Panthers both love to pound the ball on the ground and play hard hitting defence  It means their meetings are not for the faint-hearted and can often decide the division winner.


Brief History

During their run to the Super Bowl in 1998, the Falcons performed a touchdown celebration dance, the Dirty Bird craze swept the NFL. This was their only Super Bowl appearance and they lost to the Denver Broncos 34-19 in Miami, Florida.

Who to watch out for?
Matt Ryan. He is number two for the Atlanta Falcons and plays quarterback. Matt Ryan announced himself to the NFL with a 62-yard touchdown on his very first professional pass. The Falcons quarterback led the team to the playoffs in his rookie season.
